Kazuri handmade ceramic jewellery is hand made in Kenya. Every bead which makes up a necklace is shaped by hand, the beads are then kiln fired once, glazed and fired again before being strung. Kazuri means "small and beautiful "in Swahili.

David Wardingley ARTISTIC WOODTURNER
DESIGNS IN WOOD. DAVID WARDINGLEY
David has been working in wood for over 30 years . He specialises in small hollow forms, wooden jewellery, lace bobbins and treen. He is a member of the R.P.T. and has been a regular exhibitor at the Harlow Carr Art Exhibition in July and August for many years. (see events section). A new project for David is carving distinctive birds -- watch this space!!
David is now teaching woodturning, one to one, at his new home in Roecliffe near Boroughbridge in North Yorkshire and turning parts for furniture restorers or customers who require small turned parts for their furniture-examples below-





JULIA WARDINGLEY
Julia paints in oils and pastels and has recently finished a series of very small oils on panel and has had them framed specially so all the painting is visible The smallest is 4x6ins up to 8x10ins .Also see more of Julia's paintings in a separate page on the left on the home page under Julia.s paintings.
Julia exhibits and helps to organise the annual Art Exhibition at the R.H.S. Harlow Carr Gardens Harrogate where she will be displaying her oils, pastels, mixed media and prints and cards. It is a very popular event with over 20 artists exhibiting - paintings, prints,sculpures,ceramics, woodturnings- a treat for all! -- see events section for dates.
Julia has also started to teach pastel and oil painting at her new home in Roecliffe near Boroughbridge in North Yorkshire. The following small oils are available to purchase framed, prices range from £65.00 to £85.00 plus postage.

Hands on Ceramics
Karen Witty and Colin Fawcett met while attending University where they graduated in 2001 with B.A. Hons in glass and ceramics and then decided to team up and form Hands On Ceramics. They have gone from strength to strength and we are pleased to have in a selection of their small and medium birds. If we don't have in what you require we can soon order for you.
